Benefits of Montessori in everyday life

More independence in everyday life

Children learn to handle tasks independently – from dressing to setting the table. This not only strengthens their skills but also their self-confidence.

Less stress – more structure

Clear routines and child-friendly environments create a calmer family life. Children know what they are allowed to do – parents need to intervene less.

Stronger bond through real involvement

Statt dauernd zu sagen „Nein, das ist zu schwierig“, werden Kinder aktiv eingebunden. Das schafft gemeinsame Erlebnisse – auf Augenhöhe.

We’ve got the answers to your questions :)

What exactly are the Everyday Challenges?

They’re lovingly designed mini-tasks for everyday life – like “Today I’ll set the table,” “Today I’ll get dressed all by myself,” or “Today I’ll put my shoes where they belong.” Each challenge is written in a child-friendly way, with a clear goal, practical tips, and a small mama-to-mama insight.

What age is the book suitable for?

The book is divided into three age groups: 2–3 years, 3–4 years, and 4–6 years. This way, every family can find suitable tasks – whether you’re just starting out or already deep into your Montessori journey.

How does the book work in everyday life?

You simply choose a suitable challenge, print it out or show it to your child (depending on how you use it), and lovingly guide them through the process. With helpful mama tips, you’ll know exactly how to support your child— without stepping in too much.

Do children actually learn something from it?

Oh yes! Behind every challenge is a clear learning goal – such as fine motor skills, independence, spatial awareness, social responsibility, or emotional development. And most importantly: it’s fun. Kids love the feeling of accomplishment!

Do you need a lot of materials or preparation?

No. Most tasks can be done right in everyday life – using things you already have at home. No expensive Montessori materials needed!

Is the book suitable for Montessori beginners?

Absolutely. You don’t need any prior experience. The book guides you with mama insights that explain what really matters – and how you, as a parent, can support your child in everyday life so they truly benefit from it.

Here’s what parents in our community are saying :)

I never imagined how much these little cards would make our daily life easier! My son now checks by himself in the morning to see what’s planned – and I don’t have to remind him ten times. Structure without stress – thank you for that!

– Lauren, mom of two kids

I’ve skimmed through so many Montessori books and ended up putting them aside… But this guide is different. Finally something practical, loving, and still clear. Now I don’t just understand the theory – I actually know what to do in everyday life.

The challenges are so thoughtful and lovingly created. What I really love: they’re organized by age – so I can always pick a task that fits. And my child is truly growing through them!
